Day 01: Delhi.
Arrival at New Delhi, India’s capital city. Either Tarini Ma or Ram Das, or a representative of our company will meet you at Delhi International Airport and give you a traditional Indian welcome! Transport to your hotel.
Night in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi.
After breakfast we will begin to explore the many amazing sites in Delhi! Among possible destinations: the Lotus Temple, the Akshardham Temple Complex (the largest Hindu temple in the world), the famed India Gate, and the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi.
Night in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi/Agra.
After breakfast we journey by air-conditioned van to Agra, location of the world-famous Taj Mahal and several other important historical monuments.
“The city of Agra, located to the southwest of Delhi, is one of India’s best known tourist spots. Between 1526 and 1656 A.D., Agra was the seat of several dominant Mogul rulers, who left ample evidence of their years in power in the form of numerous monuments and forts of great historical value. Among these are the Red Fort,Akbar’s Tomb, and, of course, the Taj Mahal.”

Day 04: Agra.
Today we will visit the Taj Mahal and several other important sites in Agra.

Day 05: Agra/Fatepursikri/Jaipur.
After breakfast we will drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajastan, and en route we will visit the famous abandoned city of Fatepursikri, which was constructed by the great Mogul emperor Akbar, who lived and governed there for 7 years, and later abandoned the place due to political pressures, not to mention lack of water! The are is full of beautiful examples of Mogul architecture, many of which have great historical value.

Day 06: Jaipur.
Today we will tour the amazing city of Jaipur, known as “the Pink City” due to the rosy hue of most of its buildings.
“Jaipur, the capital of Rajastán, was constructed in pink stucco it imitate the natural stone found in the area. Jaipur, which literally translates as ‘the place of victory,’ was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728, and has now grown far beyond the limits of the walls which once surrounded the fort-like ancient city. From the Nargarth Fort one can receive a manificent view of the entire city. To walk through Jaipur is to behold a living spectacle, where we will find men with turbans and massive moustaches, women adorned with many bracelets and wrapped in saris of many colors, while camels and sacred cows are visible almost everywhere amidst the multitud of monuments, shops, roadside eateries and hotels.”
Day 07: Jaipur/Delhi/your return flight home
After lunch we will make our return to Delhi and go directly to the airport for your international flight home.
